Adult: 140 NOK
Senior/Student: 120 NOK
Children (under 16 years): 80 NOK

Free admission for children under 4 years of age.

Tickets can be purchased upon arrival.  The price grants access to Nordvegen History Centre. We offer good capacity to  individual visitors.

Vikinggarden

The Viking farm is closed for the season. 

The Viking farm is used as a  school camp off-season, but we can accommodate groups for guided tours all year round (min. 20 people).  Feel free to contact us for a price quote on a guided tour.

The Viking Farm

Open during summer June 15th June – August 13th 2026. 

Monday – Friday  10:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Discover how the Vikings lived. We offer guided tours led by the lady of the house or the master of the house every day. 

Norwegian tours at 11:30 AM and at 2:00 PM. 

English tours at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM

Groups (minimum 20 pax), can also book a guided tour year - round.

Olavskirken på Avaldsnes

St. Olav's Church - spring

Enjoy the sounds of the organ or be enchanted by the cantor's performance of beautiful Gregorian chants on selected Thursdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Dates for spring 2026 are as follows:

April 9 , 16, and 23 

 May 7 and 28

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Nordvegen History Centre 

For groups (min. 20 pax), it is possible to book a guided tour  throughout the year.

St. Olav's Church in the Summer

From June 23 to August 13, the church is open every Monday and Wednesday from 12:00 to 3:30 p.m.

For groups (min 20 pax), guided tours can be booked throughout the year.

 

Theatrical tour with a Pilgrim

During the summer season we have guided tours with Siv, the pilgrim. Dates for 2026 are not ready.

Included in the combined ticket that can be purchased at Nordvegen History Centre.

It is possible for groups (min. 20 pax), to book a tour with a guide throughout the year.

Tour of the Royal Hall Ruins

Join us for a guided tour of the medieval ruin.

Every Wednesday and Friday during the period 1th of July to 1th of August 2026. Norwegian tour at 11:30 and English tour at 12:30.

Groups (minimum 20 pax), can book a guided tour throughout the year on availability.

Tickets can be bought at Nordvegen History Centre and is a combined ticket.
